Social Hub: eight platforms, one console

Social Hub at `/dashboard/social` puts every channel in one console: eight platforms — Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and Google Business Profile — plus a composer, a queue, a calendar, approvals, Auto-Pilot rules, and first-party click analytics. You plan once, and the hub keeps the posting honest and on time. ## Connect your channels 1. Open **Social** → **Channels** and pick a platform. 2. Choose a connection mode. Where direct **OAuth** is available, you sign in and authorize the platform, and the hub publishes for you. Where a platform's native adapter is not yet enabled for your workspace, BirrStore falls back to **relay** or **assisted** mode automatically: assisted mode produces a ready-to-post publish kit — caption, media, link, scheduled time — that you push out with one tap, and relay mode publishes through a connected relay account. 3. The channel card shows its connection mode and health, so you always know which channels are fully hands-off and which need the one-click assist. ## Compose with smart time slots 1. Open the **Composer**. Select one or many channels, write the caption, attach media, and add a link. 2. Click **AI captions** to generate platform-appropriate variants — shorter for X, hashtag-friendly for Instagram — and edit them as you like. 3. Insert a saved **hashtag set** instead of retyping tag groups; sets are managed under **Hashtags** and can be per-channel. 4. When you schedule, the composer offers **smart time slots**: posting windows you configure per platform, and the scheduler picks the next open slot so you never double-book a channel. Prefer a fixed time? Pick it yourself. ## Queue, calendar, approvals - Everything scheduled lands in the **Queue** in dispatch order, with status for each post. - The **Calendar** shows the month view across all channels; move posts when reality changes. - If you want a second pair of eyes, posts route through **Approvals**: teammates or agents propose, you approve or reject, and only approved posts dispatch. - Dispatch runs on the platform scheduler, so posts go out at their scheduled time even with the dashboard closed. ## Let Auto-Pilot keep the pipeline full **Auto-Pilot** under `/dashboard/social/autopilot` turns store activity into scheduled posts. Set rules like "when a blog post is published, schedule an Instagram post with its cover image and a link" or "when a new product is created, queue a Facebook post with the photo." Auto-Pilot applies your template, hashtags, and smart slots — you get a steady drip of authentic posts from work you already did, and you can cap the volume so it never floods a channel. ## Measure with first-party clicks **Analytics** at `/dashboard/social/analytics` tracks link clicks the first-party way: links in your posts route through your own store domain, and clicks are counted without third-party cookies or pixels. Per-post and per-channel views show what actually drives traffic to the store, which is the number that matters when you decide where to spend your content effort. ## Tips - Set your time slots per channel realistically. A 9am slot on LinkedIn and a 8pm slot on Instagram are usually better bets than one global time. - Keep two hashtag sets per platform: broad reach and niche. Alternate them so posts do not look copy-pasted. - Use approvals when an agent or a teammate drafts for you — a ten-second review prevents a tone-deaf post. ## FAQ **Do I need OAuth to use the Social Hub at all?** No. Channels without native OAuth still work in assisted mode — the hub stages everything and you publish with one click — so you can run your calendar from one place regardless of connection mode. **What happens if I schedule the same time on two channels?** Nothing breaks. Smart slots are tracked per channel, so each platform schedules independently. **Are the click counts from the platforms themselves?** No. They are first-party clicks counted through your own store links — the same visitor data model as the rest of BirrStore analytics.
